Travel
Flying In & Out
Passports + Visas
Please fly into Kempegowda International Airport [BLR] in Bengaluru, India.
Arrive by the morning of Jan 2 and fly out on Jan 5.
Please ensure your passport has at least 6 months of validity to be eligible for international travel.
Unless you are an Indian citizen, you will need a visa to travel to India. HERE is a link with visa-related information to help you process your paperwork in advance. Once a visa application is successfully processed by the Indian consulate, applicants will receive an approval letter, via e-mail. Please print out a copy of the approval letter, which you will need to show the Indian immigration desk upon arrival. Immigration officials will then stamp the Indian travel visa in your passport.

Please provide your flight details + visa copy as soon as they are available, but latest by Nov 1, 2024.

Additional Nights
You will be staying at Courtyard by Marriott Bengaluru Outer Ring Road. Your stay will be covered by us from Jan 2-5 for a 3 night stay.
Check In: 2pm IST on Jan 2
Check Out: 12pm IST on Jan 5

Please note you will require a valid form of ID to check into the hotel. If you are a foreign guest, the hotel will require your passport and visa copy.

If you would like to arrive before Jan 2 or continue your stay after the wedding, you are welcome to extend your stay at the Courtyard by Marriott on your own dime! If you plan to do so, please contact us at merzia.alec@gmail.com and we will help you coordinate the room reservation & rates.
Please note room rates from Dec 29-Jan 1 will hover around $90 per night, and room rates after Jan 5 will hover around $150 per night.
Transportation
Airport Pick-Up
Event Transportation
Your transport from the airport to the hotel, and the hotel to each event, will be handled and paid for by us, during the dates of the wedding.
Arrangements will be made for your pick-up from the airport, if you are landing on Jan 2. As soon as you come out of the airport our representative will be waiting for you at the exit points with a placard that reads “Merzia & Alec Wedding” and escort you to your vehicle for transfer to the hotel. Trasport arrangements will also be provided to take you to the airport from the hotel when you check out on Jan 5.

As for each event, vehicles will be available to take you to the venue and back for all the celebrations.

Please utilize Uber or Ola Cabs for your other personal use. The hotel concierge service can also assist you with this.
